"Blockchain and Tokenization" - Disruption of the financial system through crypto-assets and Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

The process of tokenization, i.e. the digital representation of assets, has great disruptive potential to transform entire financial systems. This process involves representing portions of an asset in the form of digital tokens. Specifically, this involves the vision of a decentralized financial system (DeFi) based on blockchain technology that functions without traditional intermediaries. The topic of tokenization / crypto-assets is one of the most exciting future trends of the next few years. However, despite convincing application examples, there are still numerous challenges.
